1996
imported and approved Oldenburg stallion by Rubenstein. 16 HH.
Successfully
competing at Grand Prix and receiving 9's for Piaffe. Rolling Stone
won the 2007 GAIG/USDF Region I championships at the I-II level.
In
2008 Rolling Stone was the BLM Reserve Champion at Grand Prix. Rolling
Stone is very soft in the bridle with a kind and willing temperament.
This
stallion is very easy to handle and manage. He is a great career enhancer
for a professional but would also make a competitive schoolmaster
for an amateur.
Rolling
Stone is by the world-renowned stallion Rubinstein I and out of the
States Premium mare Waldblute by Figaro (an Oldenburg foundation line).
Rolling Stone successfully completed his 100 DT in 2002 with an overall
Dressage Index of 107.86, the second highest score. Highlights included
a 9 on walk, with 8's on temperament, rideability and character. Rolling
Stone is fully licensed through the German Oldenburg Verband and the
ISR/Oldenburg N.A.
Imported
to the United States as a weanling in 1996, Rolling Stone won his
2- and 3-year-old breed classes. He follows in his sire's footsteps
with his great rideability and loveable temperament. In his dressage
debut he scored in the 70's and upper 60's at the lower levels with
Hokan Thorn and Bent Jensen. In 2002, at Dressage at Lexington, Rolling
Stone was the Champion Stallion in hand and under saddle! He was also
the winner of the Materiale class, the Oldenburg IBC class and Reserve
Champion of the entire show!
Rolling
Stone returned to the show ring in 2005 at the Pinehurst Dressage
Show. He went four for four, winning every class entered at Second
Level with scores in the mid to high 60%'s with trainer/rider Stacey
Schettkoe Hastings. In the next three years of training with Stacey,
Rolling Stone has gone from Second level to Grand Prix. He was the
NCDCTA Horse of the Year at Third level, and in 2007 won the GAIG/USDF
Region I Championships at I-II. In 2008 he qualified for the regional
championships and the BLM championships at Grand Prix.
Rolling
Stone's offspring have proven to be phenomenal with a 90% premium
rate. His progeny are long legged and short coupled with generous,
flowing movement and "picture perfect" conformation. Rolling
Stone foals can be recognized by the above traits as well as their
loving, inquisitive and playful temperament. Look to this stallion
for your upcoming champion!
